Custom WordPress web design for the SCAN newspaper at Lancaster University.

The new design is based around SCAN’s new logo and branding and included the following:

• Custom WordPress theme designed using new branding
• Database backup and migrated to new server
• Responsive design to ensure the website works on any device
• Image attribution added so the image can be credited to the author
• Customised additional footer to match the styling from the lifestyle section of the site
• Built to allow the client to use the WordPress theme customiser to modify the layout and sections

Additional custom footer

Custom additional footer are that was designed with a different style for the lifestyle section of the newspaper ‘Carolynne’.

The secondary footer has its own menu area and the text can be edited through the theme customiser as a custom widget area.
