WordPress redesign for Gourmet Girls Italy
A new website was needed for Gourmet Girls Italy’s Sorrento food and wine experiences to integrate with their new booking system, Fareharbor, and they contacted Redcitrus Design to redesign their old WordPress website.
To create the new website, I wanted to create a sleek, modern and functional look, which included the following features:
- The client wanted to showcase the food and atmosphere of a Gourmet Girls Italy tour with a website to highlight some of the amazing food and made it easy for people to book their tours
- Elementor Pro and Advanced Custom Fields were used to build a custom WordPress theme – from wireframes to design prototypes that were shared with clients via a project management system
- I imported the existing posts and pages into the new site so they could be updated with the new brand
- A new custom post type for tours – This had to include conditional elements for tour details, what was included, image galleries and testimonials
- The tour pages were integrated with the Fareharbor booking software
- Instagram and Tripadvisor were connected to the home page
