Website Rebuild for cazloyd.com from Drupal to WordPress
Cazloyd, a London-based tour operator, needed to rebuild their Drupal website in WordPress to make it easier to maintain.
After working hard on this project for a month, I migrated the website for cazloyd.com from Drupal to WordPress and the client is happy with the final website.
- The WordPress theme that I developed for cazloyd.com allows them to keep their website fresh and up-to-date with their brand
- The new theme has been designed to be easily customisable by the editing team, with a flexible template that allows the re-use of similar blocks across different pages
- Responsive web design was a key element of this project because it was important to ensure that the site worked on mobile and tablets
- To ensure that the user journey was clear, I created a much improved mega menu that could be easily updated by the client
- I added new animations to the new design and these will add dynamic elements to the page as it loads, or as the user scrolls
- They had 100’s of blog posts so it was important that I imported the existing posts so that they didn’t lose any SEO value after the move
