WordPress Support Plans Faqs
How do I start a WordPress support plan?
To start a new plan just click on the get started buttons above and you will be taken to a form where you can add your site details.
Once I receive this I will take a look at the site and hosting, then I will contact you about the onboarding process.
Next, part of the onboarding service includes a free health check of your site to see what can be improved.
What can I use my time for?
You can use the additional support time for any of the following:
- Theme development
- Add copy and content
- Update existing pages – changes to layouts
- Landing page building
- CSS, JS, HTML and PHP
- Web design
Does my time roll over each month?
Our plans do not roll over unused time each month, but we do operate a common-sense policy on this.
- If you go over the time then you need to do a pro-rata (time used) top-up or upgrade
- If you don’t use the hours then we can review the package you are on and move you down a package
- Unfortunately time cannot be used in advance
- The best advice is to start small and then we can review after a couple of months
Where are you based?
Our friendly UK WordPress support is based in Manchester.
Do you work normal office hours?
Yes, my general support hours for WordPress support are 9 am – 5 pm GMT Mon – Fri. I do, however, answer support requests outside of these hours and will do my best to respond within 2 hours, if not the same day.
How do you record the time?
Time is recorded using Harvest and each job will be individually recorded and the time used is the time recorded. If it takes 3 minutes that is all you use.
Where are your backups stored?
Daily encrypted backup files are stored in Europe using the Amazon S3 infrastructure.
These backups run every 24 hours but there are further options to increase the frequency if required – just let us know your requirements.
How do you check the security?
I use Sucuri Security Check to monitor your website and ensure it is malware free.
The Security Check flags any site errors or outdated software and also scans the pages on your website to compare the code against a known malware knowledge base.
